Put Me in, Coach!

It's official.  Everyone's been waiting.  You know that awkward time when football has ended and even the poor sports radio guys have to talk about hockey?  Well fear not, sports fans!  Pitchers and catchers have reported to Arizona and Tommy has reported to his first tee ball practice.

Say hello to the Lil' Orioles!

Also on the team is Tommy's friend Jamison who lives a few blocks away from us, whose papa also works at S.I., and whose dad played tee ball with Tommy's mom on the same field as kids!  Jamison is on the far right, actually dressed like a baseball player.  Tommy is wearing a soccer hat and soccer cleats.  But he's got his game face on.

Throwing to Joe, Jamison's dad.

Many spectators have already come out to enjoy the first two weeks of practice.

Working on her throw...

... had more success when she ditched the glove so she could throw lefty.

The best behaved spectator...

We didn't post after the first week of practice because our official sports photographer wasn't present.  Thankfully, Papa Tom was able to come this week so he could capture these awesome pics.

These are the ones I managed at the first practice with my camera phone.
