May is a crazy month around here since Tom is pretty well tied up with his school show. This year Tommy had his own school show and a gymnastics showcase in the same weekend as Tom's show. So here are some highlights of a busy month!
Tommy's school performed "Rats, the Musical!" a musical retelling of the Pied Piper. Tommy was one of the children. I assisted the director.
His Level 1 Gymnastics showcase also went well. Due to many events that weekend, I attended alone so didn't get many photos as I was holding the video camera in one hand and cell phone camera in the other. I'll do a separate post with some video clips..
Caught again doing math for fun! (note the double digit addition in fridge numbers behind him) I sent this photo to my friend Sandy who chairs our math department. She replied with a quote from Big Bang Theory
"one can get beaten up just by referring to oneself as 'one'."
It took several weeks of begging, bribing, threatening, etc but a couple of weeks ago he finally let go of the wall at his school's pool and tried the inner tube I'd brought. He has swim lesson amnesia and does not remember anything from last year so we nearly had to start over.
Maybe he'll be a musician instead?
His school took a field trip to Six Flags (Marine World) and we were in charge of supervising these two lovely first grade girls.

Look who convinced Nana to paint her toes!
She runs up quite an imaginary phone bill
A haircut resulted in very short hair up top...
Posing with Molly. In many pictures with Molly, Lucy looks like she's working on her sorority group picture poses.
Until June...
