Everybody was excited and ready to go for the First Day of School this year!

Junior Giant

Tommy participated in the Junior Giants summer baseball league and it was a great experience.  In addition to baseball, the program covers character and education programs like summer reading, bullying prevention, health and fitness, and other topics.  The reward for completing all of these programs was a team trip to AT&T Park to play on the real field!

Twain Harte

We enjoyed another long weekend at Twain Harte with all the cousins, aunts, uncles, and our fearless leader: Grandma.

Before hitting the lake, we started with baseball practice.

Tying summer reading assignment into vacation, we brought Flat Stanley along.  Tommy's big feat of the summer was an increased comfort level in the water, jumping off the dock, and even going down the water slide twice.  No pictures of those feats, so Stanley had to stand in.

Of course there was golf.  We didn't find "Tommy" in the stones but we did find "Buster" while wearing a Posey shirt.

Dance Camps

Lucy participated in a couple of dance camps this summer: Pre-Hula and Musical Theatre.  She really enjoyed trying out two new styles and we really enjoyed watching their performance on the final day.  After seeing Lucy's class, both kids decided to sign up for Musical Theatre for this year.

A Walk in the Park

While Tommy was at Posey camp, Lucy awoke from a sleepover with Grandma and Papa.  They took a morning stroll through San Pedro park and took some gorgeous pictures along their way.
