Lucy's visit to the dentist this week was unlike any I've experienced so far as a parent! She sat in the chair by herself, wore her sunglasses, watched some Dora, and totally let the dentist and assistant do everything they needed to do. Only after accidentally getting squirted in the face with the water did she balk. Considering dental appointments with her brother tend to be very very difficult, this was a dream!
The one less than dreamy part was when the dentist said she has an "open bite" and needs to ditch the binky. So Friday night we converted the crib to a toddler bed, tossed the binkies out, and off we go into big girl land. Stay tuned for that report...
