Christmas 2011

The Christmas season began with the SI Faculty Kids Christmas Party, which we held hours before Lucy's birthday party.  Our kids did an amazing job with these two big parties back to back!

Christmas Eve was at our house with Nana and Jennifer over for dinner and Grandma and Papa dropping by for a visit.

Christmas morning, Santa had arrived!

Tommy got a claw game and Lucy received a bunch of dress up gear and a place to hang and organize her various outfits, hats, jewels, and props.

My favorite quote of the morning came when Tommy opened this tool for learning addition and subtraction.  He'd seen one in the Kindergarten classroom at school and coveted it.  His reaction upon opening the paper, "Oh Mama!  Look what I got!  MATH!"

This luscious black cape came courtesy of Aunt Maureen.

The claw game in action, in case you haven't seen/heard it.  (This was taken during the Marco/Tommy sleepover so don't mind the cousin noise in the background!)

And to all a good night!
