Lucy had a great 2nd birthday followed the next day by a party-filled day with cousins and family.
Early in the week, the boys assembled Lucy's kitchen after she was asleep. We were glad that we didn't save this for a Christmas Eve assembly, but it really didn't take that long at all.
We always start the celebration of Lucy's birthday with a trip to Chili's on the evening of the 15th since that's where we were a few hours before I went into labor in 2009!
On the morning of December 16th, she got to open her kitchen (well, pull off the sheet that was covering it).
After dropping Tommy off at school, we hit Starbucks.
Later we enjoyed brunch with Nana, Grandma, and Aunt Jennifer
We stopped by Holy Name that afternoon to watch Daddy and the other teachers get beat in volleyball by a bunch of 8th grade girls... Tom was clearly the strongest link on his team...
That afternoon Lucy opened presents from Aunt Jennifer and Aunt Barbara
Now that her kitchen was stocked with food, pots and pans, and she had the proper attire, it was playtime!
Thankfully, I remembered to take her picture with Snoopy.
The next day was party day!
