Santa comes to story time!

Tommy, Lucy and I enjoyed pajama story time this evening when Miss Sue strayed from her routine (which never happens) and suggested we sing "Jingle Bells". Ok, we went along with that (surprising for Tommy) when I heard bells.

I was so genuinely excited when we saw Santa coming into the children's room at the library. Tommy was totally game to talk to Santa yet again and remind him that he wants a "Rexy"



Lucy watched from afar, crawled a little closer and was curious.



Tommy reassured her that everything would be ok



So I thought we'd go for a second try with Lucy and Santa ( I know I still haven't scanned their mall attempt). This second attempt went much like the first.






Very glad we happened to go tonight. We should be seeing the big man again tomorrow at school.
