Lucy loves Diaper Bag Dolly as well as her new dollys. She does the same thing with each one:
She'll pull the doll in tight usually putting her mouth over its face (assuming this is her version of a kiss) then she'll hug the dolly in tight and rock back and forth. She'll also pat its back on occasion. Super cute.
Even though Lucy now proudly cares for several dolls, Diaper Bag Dolly has become a fixture in her arms and ventures out of the diaper bag and even goes to sleep with her. Thus, I went to Target yesterday and bought an identical, back-up Diaper Bag Dolly. Not taking any chances....
