On Saturday we went to see Cullan's Hounds a Irish American Traditional Rock group. Of course, we didn't go to their concert at the Great American Music Hall. No, we saw them rockin it for the juice box crowd at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. This crowd probably wasn't as different as their usual crowd. There was a mosh pit, tantrums, groupies, and kids passing out (that was Lucy who slept through most of it). They creatively changed some lyrics from "whiskey and beer" to "cookies and root beer" but seemed to keep a lot of the themes of drinkin' and fightin' in the music. What can you do, you can't rewrite every traditional Irish song! :)Tommy secretly liked it but was a bit hungry/sleepy/cranky so refused to show interest or joy during the concert.
And in preparation for the big day tomorrow, Tom was busy baking last night:
