Random Fun Stuff

The year is moving very quickly! It's October, almost midterms for us... I have a lot of work to get done! I'm proctoring the SAT right now so have a few free hours to update with some fun pictures from this week.

Gellert Park with Joey, Clara, Gma, and Papa. We went to watch a field hockey game. I didn't get to see much of it... We played it's a small world as Amy Stecher was there with her brood and I tried to explain to Joey that these were Megan's cousins. As usual, he looked at me like I was nuts and ran and played.

Thursday night Tom had class and I had Sophomore Retreat so Gma picked Tommy up at daycare and took him to P-town for an evening with Gma, Papa, and Barney. Gma plays with the Photobooth program on her computer and clearly Tommy has fun! It uses the camera on the computer so Tommy can see himself on the screen. It's also a mirror image, in case you thought things looked off.

(since you enjoy comparison pics... I don't have access to younger ones right now but Gma seems to see a resemblance between Tom & Tommy)

We wrapped up the week with the first ever "Friday Night Lights" at SI. Actually, I read this was the first EVER night game played on a home campus in San Francisco. None of the high schools in the city have lights on campus, most usually play at Kezar. So Tommy and I joined Papa, Tim & Joey, and The Stecher Family for this historic event. (We rented lights, FYI)

The SI Prep Shop finally sells kids clothes!
Joey watches the game through high powered binoculars
Papa does a fine job multitasking - watching the slaughter, I mean, game and entertaining 4 toddlers
Another photo by Tommy. He loves the camera and wants to take pictures. He pushes the button, I swear. I think he has potential! I just need to get him one of the Fisher Price cameras.
Tommy finally sacked out (isn't that a football term? sacked? look at me!) during the 4th quarter and successfully made the transition to the Faculty Dining Room for the post-party. And yes, I just left him there on the floor while I enjoyed my chips and soda. (No punch and cookies like the old days).
I have some pictures of my phone that I will add once I'm not at the SAT. Joey and Tommy joined Papa and Tim in the batting cage. And of course, I left my camera in the diaper bag in the stands so I used my phone. To be continued...

An exceptionally fun and full week with the grandkids! (--Is that why my schoolbag is so heavy?)

many things made me laugh while reading this update, but these are the top 3:

1) that picture of tom
2) the fact that you used football terms (look at you!)
3) tommy on the floor

i think i'm going to take the blogging plunge, though i have no children, no job, and no future.
the title is "Gregslist." Thoughts?
