Our celebrity scooper of choice was Randy Hahn, the play-by-play commentator for the Sharks. Yes, we were at the A's game but prepared for this meeting by bringing his Sharks hat and wearing a (green) Shark shirt. We were hoping SJ Sharkie would be there, but Randy was very nice to pose with us and scoop out 3 floats!

Root Beer Float Day
We enjoyed Root Beer Float Day at the A's game again this year. Here's a picture from last year's game:
and this year:

Here's Gpa C and Tommy. Each year I find it hilarious to mention the irony in Root Beer Float Day being a fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes... Now, there is a table with sugar free ice cream and Diet Root Beer, but even Grandpa wanted to skip that table! So Tommy got the good stuff and a dollar dog!
This was just a taste... the full album is well worth the time!

HOW MANY ROOT BEER FLOATS DID THE KID HAVE?? He was so funny tonight. Thanks for the blog update- I appreciate it.
That looks like a much better day than the one I had. Next year - I'm marking the day on my calendar early so I get to go too!
