Her stats:
Weight - 20 lbs 13oz
Length - 29"
Head circ - 47.3 cm
Doc says she's moving right along for weight and length and that she has a "big head." Shocker doc, runs in the family.
We reported that she is now walking quite a bit, enjoys food, appears to have finally cut her top two teeth so that will be a big help. (grand total is 4 teeth right now).
Lucy is a delightfully adorable little girl who charms everyone she meets in the outside world. At restaurants she is nosy and will stare and wave at people at other tables until the respond to her... and after they respond to her.
When we pull the pacifier out of her mouth (she uses it during the day a lot more than we ever let Tommy) she actually has quite a bit to say. She has the all purpose word "ba ba" which she uses for anything she doesn't already know the word for and for her pacifier. She can say it sweetly or she can screech it at full volume until we determine what it is she desires. She recognizes many words when we say them and can say "shoes," "fish," "head," "nose," "ball," as well as "Nana," "Gamma" (grandma), "Papa," and "ba-boo" (brother). She has said "Mi-mi" once or twice for Tommy but prefers "brother". She also pointed to a picture yesterday and said "Jen-fer." So, she's set for life. The doctor said she has a few more words than the average 15 month old, especially for a second born as they normally can't get a word in.
Lucy is not going to be silenced, that's for sure.
