He picked Papa's first artichoke from the backyard but also refused to taste it.
So he was a natural assistant this week when Grandama had to go by school and water their garden while other teachers were on vacation. Grandama picked up Tommy and his wagon and put both to work.
The harvest:

Blurry, but adorable. Considering we almost exclusively buy baby carrots, Tommy was probably fascinated to see a real carrot! (Shout out to the planter boxes Tom built for SG several years ago!)

We're heading to Gilroy sometime this week... I'm sure he'll be picking the fruit trees!

PS: We weren't really watering the school garden with bottled water. Although we had several jugs of emergency water that were ready to expire so we carted those off to some of the smaller planter boxes.
Fun!
Save some of the artichokes for Joey and Clara! :) They love them!
