Public Speaking

It's no St. Brendan's Speech Contest (1990 School Champ here) but here is Tommy's first solo public speaking project.  They had to introduce themselves and tell a joke.  (He got his from the Outback Steakhouse Kids Menu.)

Apparently a kid who went before him had the same joke, which I think explains why he looks a little restrained.  (When he practiced a home there were large hand gestures and inflections involved).  But he looks pretty dang cute either way.

I also LOVE that his teacher recorded them on her phone and sent them out!

(If you can't hear, he introduces himself and says the date.  His joke "Why did the cockatoo sit on the clock?  He wanted to be on time.")
