Giants Game #1 - The (Free) Cheap Seats

On the day before the first day of school, we went to the Giants game to see the Giants play the Padres.  Tommy once again won free tickets to the game by finishing his Summer Reading and getting invited to the VIP party at the Library.  He once again selected the marked lollipop and got to choose a prize.  This time I was ready and didn't even let him consider grabbing the cheap stuffed animal or free toy.  Giants tickets please, before someone else grabs them!

These were section 336 which for those who don't know (not Jen or Jeff Callaghan) is the last section of seating behind the third base foul pole.  It overlooks the Fan Lot and slides (cool) but not much else including most of the action on the field.  We got our exercise climbing stairs that night and, despite it being Italian Heritage Night, we left early as it was a bad game, a school night, and a strange crowd vibe (not the Italians, I'm sure).

August Wrap Up

In the words of Jeff Callaghan, "I hate when Meredith goes back to school and stops blogging!"

Yep... happens every year.  Now I don't even know where to begin.  We're a few weeks into school, we've been to three very fun Giants games in three weeks, Lucy has been on adventures with Grandma and Nana, and I'm way behind on blogging.  This is going to take a while, and this week will still be pretty busy until we get through Back to School Nights and get in the flow of the year.  But here are a few parting shots from August to appease those who are bored at work and rely on me for their entertainment!
